Chabrolieres : at the low end of a valley near the Vivarais Corniche, and just before the river flows into a ravine. With a little effort and some navigation, you can end up staring up at an imposing but ruined Cistercian barn. No signposts, no information panels, no real road to get here and no roof on the barn. The building has lasted for centuries, but probably not much longer. The walls are too tall to stay standing with no roof to prevent water seepage.

Chabrolières : au fond d’une vallée encaissée, pas loin de la corniche du Vivarais Cévénol, en faisant un peu d’effort on peut tomber devant cette grange imposante mais ruinée, apparemment bâtie par les Cisterciens. Aujourd’hui, pas de panneau de signalisation, pas de tableau d’information, pas de route vraiment carrossable pour y accéder, et surtout pas de toit sur la grange. Le bâtiment existe depuis plusieurs siècles, mais avec de hauts murs sans toiture, il y a ici plus d’histoire que d’avenir.
